Cafayate Valley
Cafayate Valley, in Argentina’s Salta province, is one of the world’s highest wine regions, with vineyards between 1,600 and 1,800 metres above sea level. Its unique terroir combines intense sunlight, cool nights, and sandy soils, resulting in wines of great aromatic expression and balance. Cafayate is especially renowned for Torrontés, Argentina’s signature white variety, offering floral and citrus aromas with lively freshness. Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon also thrive here, showing ripe fruit, elegance, and structure.
