Wine Region
Maipú, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza
Maipú, located southeast of Mendoza City, is one of Argentina’s historic wine regions. Sitting between 720 and 780 metres above sea level, it enjoys warm days, cool nights, and deep alluvial soils that favor balanced ripening. Known for its classic expressions of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, Maipú produces wines with ripe fruit, soft tannins, and smooth texture, reflecting both tradition and the character of Mendoza’s eastern terroirs.
