Asia's home for great wine
Country
Czech wine comes from two regions: Morava in the south-east, which holds almost all of the country’s vineyards, and Čechy - Bohemia - in the west and around Prague. Cool continental summers and long autumns favour aromatic whites with firm acidity, and the same conditions are why the country’s sparkling wine, its sekt, has been made by the traditional method since the 1940s.
